The brand identity for Cooking Girl has an independent, signature look, reminiscent of a high fashion monogram. The mark is fun and current, reinterpreting a classic fork into a chefs hat, completing the Cooking Girl silhouette.

The Cooking Girl brand is turning up the heat on a new wave of contemporary cuisine in Oklahoma and in turn has captured an impressive following. We say Bon Appetite!

EDGE Logo

Oklahoma’s EDGE (Economic Development Generating Excellence) is a government entity that grants funding to truly worthy technology and innovation research applicants who are commercially viable. The endowments come from the EDGE fund, a $150 million and growing (with a goal of a billion) pool that will, with EDGE’s guidance, help drive commercially viable science and technology research for years to come in the state. Ultimately, this will keep Oklahoma’s science and technology superstars in Oklahoma, move innovations into the private sector and supercharge Oklahoma’s economy.

EDGE needed a brand identity that was clean and contemporary. This logotype shows Oklahoma’s ascension through EDGE, alluding visually to the marked progression EDGE is causing in Oklahoma in the technology and innovation fields. The first “E” has been reflected to become a staircase for Oklahoma. The bold typeface and upward staircase reinforce the positive change EDGE is bringing to Oklahoma in economic growth through technology and innovation funding.

McCubbin Hosiery Logo

McCubbin Hosiery, a third generation family owned company, has a rich history of introducing creativity, innovation and new technology to the hosiery industry.
McCubbin primarily manufactures superior hosiery for women and children, and soft soled slippers for children. McCubbin supplies both top name brands and private label programs. Strong brands like Stride Rite, Keds, Absorba and New Baby trust McCubbin to maintain quality and creativity in design and product development. These companies rely on McCubbin’s outstanding sourcing capabilities, trademark innovation and respected reputation.

The McCubbin brand identity visually represents a thread becoming the McCubbin “M.” The three lines used to create one letterform represent three generations of family ownership guiding one company, as well as a thread becoming a hosiery product. The vertical lines in the mark are reminiscent of the vertical striations found in a sock. The mark is whimsical, and conveys the innovation and creativity McCubbin brings to the trade while still using a traditional letterform mark to represent the company.

Reinventing their brand has been very successful for McCubbin. Along with their new print collateral, they have garnered attention from some of the most well-known brands in the country. Whose socks will they be weaving next?
