working across county lines
ACOG, the Association of Central Oklahoma Governments, serves as a coordinating body for city, town and county governments in four of Oklahoma’s central counties. Created by and for government leaders, it is an organized forum on development, legislation and management. By coordinating their efforts, ACOG promotes efficiency and consistency between the counties.
ACOG asked S Design to collaborate on an identity for the group. To avoid confusion, they wanted to make it obvious the organization is not a civic entity, but rather a support system for governments and their citizens.
With a modern look and a consistent voice, ACOG has been at the center of several important local initiatives. One of its greatest efforts included promoting the passage of legislation to support cellular 911 in all four of its counties. Now that’s really working across county (and party) lines.
