Nicol Ragland

Director and Photographer

Nicol Ragland is an intuitive photographer, documentary filmmaker, founder and executive director of the nonprofit REGENERATE OKLAHOMA, dedicated to advancing regenerative agriculture practices in Oklahoma. Ragland took up the formal study of photography at the Art Institute of Colorado. She moved to Los Angeles after photography school, drawn by the city’s creative energy, launching a new chapter of her creative life. She worked with studios, agencies and brands photographing everything from portraits to wildlife. Ragland, now based in Oklahoma, has traveled the world absorbing the wisdom of the cultures she’s immersed herself in. She intends an aesthetic meant to push boundaries and bridge difference.
